Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Taylor Groce, the individual seller operating Family Bridge (“Family Bridge”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
Family Bridge is operated by Taylor Groce (the “Seller”). When you use the service or purchase a subscription, you are contracting with the Seller. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement, or that you have authority to bind the organization you represent.
2. What Family Bridge provides
Family Bridge is an educational and organizational platform for parents navigating high-conflict co-parenting. It includes free educational content and an AI companion (“The Steady Guide”), plus optional member tools such as a custody and visit calendar with reminders, a documentation journal, co-parent messaging, self-regulation check-ins, a child wellbeing journal, a voice incident recorder, and preparation checklists.
The service is educational and organizational in nature. It is not legal advice, therapy, or a substitute for a licensed family-law attorney or qualified mental-health professional.
3. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or continuing to use Family Bridge, you accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. Please tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable use — no misuse
You must not misuse the service. That includes, at a minimum:
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any court order.
- Fraud, spam, deception, or impersonating another person.
- Infringing anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Interfering with the security or operation of the service — including uploading malware, probing or scanning systems, scraping, or attempting to bypass access controls or technical limits.
- Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the service.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing another person through co-parent messaging or any other feature.
6. AI features (The Steady Guide)
The Steady Guide uses generative AI. When you use it, the following additional rules apply:
- No illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or attempts to jailbreak or manipulate the AI into harmful outputs.
- You are responsible for your prompts, for how you use the outputs, for verifying their accuracy, and for having the rights to any content you submit.
- AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not legal, medical, psychological, or other regulated professional advice, and should not be relied on without oversight from a qualified professional.
- You retain rights to your inputs; you may use the outputs for your personal purposes. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate. Repeated infringement may lead to account termination.
- We may moderate content: removing or restricting material, refusing or filtering outputs, and suspending accounts that violate these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The Seller retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, design, documentation, educational content, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You grant us a limited license to host and process the content you add (such as journal entries and calendar events) solely to provide the service to you.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Paid memberships are billed monthly. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, which apply to your purchase in addition to these terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for details.
9. Service level
We work hard to keep Family Bridge available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free performance. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. When access ends, we may delete your data after a reasonable period, so please export anything you wish to keep (for example, journal PDF exports) beforehand.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the service, or violation of these terms.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, and disputes will be handled in the courts there, unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction says otherwise. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Questions about these terms can be sent to supportfamilybridge@gmail.com.
